Surface refresh
Plumbing stays where it is. We refinish or replace the vanity, lay new flooring, retile or regrout, replace the lighting and mirror, and repaint with a finish built for a damp room. Usually about a week, and it transforms the room.
Cincinnati & the West Side
Vanities, tile, flooring, lighting and the finish work that makes a bathroom feel finished rather than nearly finished. Every bathroom is different, so we come out, look at the room, and price the work honestly.
Bathrooms are small rooms where costs escalate quickly, mostly because of what sits behind the walls. Knowing which of these three jobs you need is what keeps the budget under control.

New tub or shower, new vanity and toilet, new tile throughout, in the same layout. More work and more cost, but no walls move and no plumbing is rerouted, which keeps it predictable.
Moving the shower, converting a tub to a walk-in, or taking out a wall. The largest job and the one where surprises live, so we are deliberately careful about quoting it before we have seen behind the wall.
Bathroom cabinets take more abuse than kitchen cabinets — constant humidity, water sitting on the counter, cleaning products. A vanity with a sound frame can be refinished for far less than replacement, provided the finish used is right for a bathroom. We use moisture-resistant products, because a standard cabinet paint in a bathroom peels at the edges within a year and we would rather do it once.
The part of a bathroom remodel you never see is the part that decides whether it lasts. Waterproofing behind tile, a properly sloped shower base and the right substrate under the floor are what stop a beautiful bathroom failing in three years. We do that work properly even though nobody will ever photograph it.
We came up as painters, so this is the part we are strictest about. Bathrooms need a finish that handles steam, clean caulk lines where tile meets tub, and trim that is sealed rather than simply painted. Small details, and the difference between a remodel that still looks good in five years and one that does not.
If you only have one bathroom we plan the sequence around that, and we tell you honestly how many days it will be out of use before you commit.
Every bathroom is different, so we do not publish a single price — a vanity refinish and a full tile replacement are not the same job. What we will say is that we price fairly for Cincinnati, the estimate is in writing before any work starts, and we do not add costs later unless something genuinely unexpected appears behind a wall. If that happens you hear about it before we proceed, not afterwards on the invoice.
These are bathrooms we have actually finished in Cincinnati, not stock photographs. The vanities below were refinished rather than replaced, because the frames were sound — the homeowners kept the cabinetry they had and spent the difference elsewhere in the room.
Our shop is on Leona Drive, so most of our work is on the West Side and close by. We are in Covedale, Cheviot, Bridgetown, Green Township, Colerain Township, Westwood and Delhi Township most weeks. We also work across the rest of Cincinnati including Madeira, Indian Hill, Kenwood, Hyde Park, Oakley, Mariemont and Anderson Township, and across the river in Florence, Kentucky.
Free in-home estimate, a written price before any work starts, and honest advice on what your bathroom actually needs.
