About Pronto Painting
A family-run painting and remodeling company on the Cincinnati West Side. Ten years of work, most of it from customers who passed our name to a neighbour.
Who we are
Pronto Painting is owned and run by Simmery Lopez from a shop on Leona Drive in Covedale. We started as painters more than a decade ago and grew into remodeling because customers kept asking — first cabinets, then bathrooms, then whole kitchens and flooring.
We are not a franchise and we do not sell leads to someone else. The person who comes out to quote your job is part of the team that does it, which is the simplest reason the work tends to come back right.
How we got here
The business grew the slow way, on referrals. After ten years, most of our jobs still arrive because somebody told a neighbour about us. That is a harder standard to hold than advertising: a referral only happens if the work was right, the house was left clean, and the price was what we said it would be at the start.
It also means we would rather tell you a cabinet refinish will do than sell you a replacement you do not need. The bigger invoice today is not worth the referral we lose tomorrow.
What we believe about the work
- Preparation is the job. Washing, filling, sanding, caulking and priming decide how long a finish lasts. The colour coat is the easy part.
- Tell people the truth. If it is the wrong time of year, if the vanity is too far gone, if a crack needs an engineer, we say so.
- Respect the house. Floors covered, dust contained, work area cleaned at the end of every day. People are living here.
- Keep the price honest. Written before we start, and no additions unless something genuinely unexpected turns up — and then you hear it before we carry on.
Where we work
The West Side is home — Covedale, Price Hill, Westwood, Cheviot, Bridgetown, Green Township and Delhi. We also work right across Cincinnati, from Over-the-Rhine and Mount Adams to Hyde Park, Oakley, Madeira and Indian Hill, north to College Hill and Mount Airy, and across the river into Florence, Kentucky. - The work is done by our own team, so one company stays answerable for the result.
- What are your hours?
- Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm. Messages left outside those hours are answered the next working day.
